SHRI MATAJI ON ‘ NADI’S ‘

“ THE HUMAN NERVOUS SYSTEM IS DIVIDED INTO A CENTRAL AND AN AUTONOMOUS NERVOUS SYSTEM. THE AUTONOMIC IS DIVIDED INTO PARASYMPATHETIC (PNS) AND SYMPATHETIC SYSTEM (SNS ) . THE PARASYMPATHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM IS DIVIDED BY A GAP BETWEEN THE VAGUS NERVE AND THE KUNDALINI ; THIS DIVISION IS SYMBOLISED IN THE INSTRUMENT AS ‘ VOID .’

THE LEFT AND RIGHT SYMPATHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM WE USE FOR DAY TO DAY PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL ACTIVITY . WITHIN THE SUBTLE INSTRUMENT, IDA NADI MANIFESTS THE LEFT SNS AND PINGALA THE RIGHT. BY PRODUCT OF IDA NADI CREATES THE BALLOON OF SUPEREGO IN HEAD , BEGINNING ON THE LEFT AT THROAT LEVEL AND MOSLY COVERING THE BACK AND RIGT SIDE OF THE HEAD .PINGALA NADI ACTIVITY CREATES ANOTHER BALLON OF EGO ON THE OTHER SIDE COVERING THE FRONT AND LEFT SIDE OF HEAD.

THE CENTRAL CHANNEL OF SUSHUMNA MANIFESTS THE PARASYMPATHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM. THIS SYSTEM IS SELF GOVERNING . THE SELF OR SPIRIT WITNESSES ACTION OF PARASYMPATHEIC WHICH CONTROLS OUR INVOLUNTARY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS HEART BEAT , BREATHING AND REFLEX .”

1. IMPORTANCE OF SUSHUMNA

“ Those who do not use the Brahmarandra to ascend , will get lost in mundane bondage . He will loose status of Siva Yogi .

Instead those who use the Sushumna nadi to ascend will find no trouble from 5 senses which fly out like birds. The ignorant one’s who do not know the importance of Sushumna fall into the whirlpool of Samsara”.

b. IGNORANT ONE’S DO NOT KNOW IMPORTANCE OF SUSHUMNA

“The ignorant one’s do not know that within this body which is a product of Karma, are 3 mandalas i.e Fire, Sun & Moon. They also do not know that there is a Sushumna within, which has 3 granthis (1) Brahma granthi (2) Vishnu granthi (3) Rudra granthi & at the end of it, there is lotus called Sahasrara. The Sahasrara opening can cut off the 3 granthis & establish blissful state”.

SHRI MATAJI ON “ SUSHUMNA THE CHANNEL OF ETERNAL PRESENT .”

“From amoeba to human stage is an evolution. Through Sushumna Nadi we ascend towards Mahalakshmi Tattwa.

The Sushumna is the central channel of our evolution. It is through this channel that we become collectively conscious & all disparate factors of our being are integrated in one whole. It makes the connection between our conscious mind & the ‘auto’ of the autonomic nervous system, the SPIRIT, which is the reflection of God.

Sushumna is the way of Dharma, the straight & narrow path by which we pass through the gate of Ajnya chakra to enter into the kingdom of God is the Sahasrara.

So with the Sahasrara open & the connection with Sushumna established, we are open to the source of all awareness, where all knowledge dwells, & is sustained by the primordial source of all power (Adi sakthi). Meditation in thoughtless awareness is the key to the development of a strong Sushumna. Another basic requirement is to enjoy virtues & dharmic life. After realisation, try to keep in thoughtless awareness as much as possible, with attention centred in Sushumna Nadi, the channel of eternal present, where the only time is ‘now’. In this way with Kundalini awakening, we transcend ‘time’ and space’.

“On the top is a lotus called ‘Sahasrara’, the petals which spreads in directions eight. There is in this maya body, a nadi, within the spinal column called the ‘Chitrani Nadi’ (Sushumna). Use this Sushumna Nadi as ladder to ascend.”

“From the seven wells (chakras) there are two forces (Ida & Pingala) pumping water. If the water is not channelised (through Sushumna) , then it will not reach the land for cultivation (sahasrara), and all water (energy) will go to waste. If the water (energy) will go to waste. If the water (energy) is channelised well (through Sushumna) then it will reach the fertile land (sahasrara)”

f) SHIVA SHAKTHI - ALWAYS PRESENT IN SAHASRARA

“Shiva Sakthi are always present, even though the world they have created, may be dissolved by them many times. If a seeker, everyday at Brahma Muhurtham, (4 - 6 a.m.), puts his attention on Shiva sakthi at cranium, then for such seekers, Sakthi will be present, in Sushumna path & guide their ascent.

“Try to balance Ida & Pingala and bring it to centre. Arouse Kundalini fire from triangular shaped Mooladara, through Sushumna, breaking the 3 granthis & at Sahasrara, the lotus feet will be visioned.
