SHRI MATAJI, “The respective powers of Ida and Pingala Nadi, Mahakali and Mahasaraswathi, create ripples in two channels. These Chakras are created at the points where these ripples meet. Each Chakras has a certain number of petals which expresses its qualities. Just as each Chakra has a plexus as its gross correspondent in the nervous system, so each petal corresponds to a sub-plexus. Before Kundalini awakening, the energy in the Chakras is limited and exhaustible, as in a battery. After realisation they are connected by Kundalini passing through Sushumna to the infinite current of the Universal sub conscious; to the all pervading Power of Divine Love.

In the subtle body there are 7 Chakras or Energy centres. According to the Sahaja Yoga terminology, Chakras mean ‘Wheels”. They are known as wheels because of the spin movement of energies for physical, mental and spiritual activities. The energy fields are whirling around in horizontal plane, rotating clockwise at a certain frequency in their respective places in the body.

There are seven main Chakras in the subtle body. Each Chakra adds a new dimension to our awareness. Every movement of the Chakra emits vibration. The understanding of what they attract and what aspect disturbs them is very important for our well being. According to Sahaja Yoga Philosophy every thought and action influences the sensitivity and performance of Chakras. When Chakras become insensitive due to catches, Kundalini cannot ascend to pierce them.

“As soon as the SAHASRARA was opened, the whole atmosphere was filled with tremendous light in the sky, and the whole thing came up on this Earth as if it were a torrential rain or water fall. It was as if the flames became a fountain of colours , fountain of fragrance.

The Primordial Kundalini rose like a big furnace, and the furnace was very silent, but it had a burning appearance, as when metal is heated and gives off many colours. In the same way the Kundalini showed up as a furnace like a tunnel, and it stretched like a telescope and came out one after another, SHOOT ! SHOOT!! SHOOT!!! “When this kundalini passes through five centres, enters the limbic area. This area is surrounded by thousand nerves and when these nerves get enlightened, they look like flames of vibgyor colours and very mildly beautifully shining, emitting peace. But when the kundalini starts emitting vibrations on the sides, all these nerves get enlightened gradually and starts moving on all the directions, opening the sahasrara, andthen,the kundalini emerges out of the fontanelle bone area, which we call the Brahmarandara . Randra, means the whole. Brahma is the all pervading power of Gods love. It enters into the subtle energy which is all pervading, which we donot feel normally, but then the chaitanya which are part and parcel of this pervading power, the paramachaitanya, they start entering into our brain and showing their blessings. They assemble in limbic area. The limbic area is connected to all the areas of brain and also to the nerves. “For the sahasrara to be kept open, first these vibrations should enter your brain through the brahmarandra when it is opened out and they should nourish your nerves by which your right and left side opens out so more chaitanya can flow down all these centres, but if your sahasrara is not fully opened , this process does not take place. As a result , the charkas donot open ; the kundalini , only a few strands is kept in spinal cord on and new strands cannot raise, because your chakras are not open. In sahaja yoga it is important to keep sahasrara open.

To open and clear the sahasrara, understand that the deity of sahasrara is Mahamaya, that try not to understand her through your reasoning and imagination, but by surrounding ‘absolutely’ to it, you keep sahasrara open. In case if you find it still closed , you have to ask forgiveness from the deity that “if we have by mistake made any mistake, forgive me”, that’s all “

SHRI MATAJI , “ YOU KNOW THAT I RESIDE IN THE SAHASRARA. I INCARNATED ON THE LOTUS OF 1000 PETALS THA IS WHY I COULD BREAK IT OPEN ALSO .AS AM TODAY AS YOU SEE ME. OF COURSE, THEY SAY SAHASRARA IS ‘MAHAMAYA’, SO THIS IS THE ILLUSION WHICH IS ALL THE TIME THERE FOR YOU. It had to be that way because you could not have faced me otherwise.

Now the Sahasrara is to be looked after by you. IT IS THE TEMPLE OF YOUR MOTHER. When you say you put me in your heart actually you put me in the Sahasrara because as you know the Brahmarandara here, the fontanelle bone area is called ‘the pita’ the centre which controls the heart, which is the seat of SADA SHIVA, what you call the Shiva. (a) BEYOND SAHASRARA - BODY CONSCIOUSNESS GOES

“ There was one DANDI , who took care of the cows . He had very deep bakthi for Shiva . He made Shiva Lingam from the river sand and worshipped it and offered the five products from the cow to the linga . Dandi’s father was annoyed by the wastage of milk , made by his son and in a fit of anger , destroyed the Shiva Lingam.

Dandi who was very much devoted to Shiva got very angry and with a sword , cut off his father’s legs .

Shiva was pleased with Dandi’s devotion and presented a garland to Dandi . Dandi pleaded to SHIVA TO RESTORE HIS FATHER’S LEG AND SHIVA RESTORED THE LEGS OF Dandi’s father “

Here Thirumoolar through this story conveys a subtle meaning . The cows refer to 5 senses . The legs of DANDI’S father refer to 2 nadi’s (Ida and pingala ) , when meditation is made , the light at Sahasrara , the 5 senses are controlled and Ida and pingala are controlled and Body Consciousness goes .
